Here we will cover the manual setting up of Outlook 2010 for Hosted Exchange 2010 :
From your desktop click the Start button and select "Control Panel"

From the Control Panel, select Mail

Click Show Profiles

Now click Add

Set a name for your profile, your name or something easily identifiable is best.

Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click next

Click Microsoft Exchange or compatible service and click Next.
This next screen is where you will need your details for setting up Exchange, your user name is usually your email address.
Click the more settings button, then click the Connection tab

Put a tick in the Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP box
Click the Exchange Proxy Settings… button
Enter the settings as follows:
In the https:// box enter the details provided by your Email service provider
Tick Only connect to proxy servers that have this principal name in their certificate:
In the text entry box below this enter the details provided by your Email service provider
Tick the On fast Networks box
Tick the On slow Networks box
Select Basic Authentication from the drop down list
Click OK, then click apply, Close any remaining Outlook configuration windows and start Outlook
When prompted by Outlook enter your username in the format of yourname@yourdomain.com and your password in the respective user name and password boxes and click OK.
Providing that all your credentials have been entered correctly Outlook will now authenticate with the
server and setup your mailbox for first use.
